Zion Williamson, indefinite absence with the Pelicans!
The star of the Louisiana franchise has been sidelined due to a left hamstring strain
The 2024/25 NBA season has been a real ordeal for the New Orleans Pelicans in its early stages. After losing Dejounte Murray in their first game to an injury that will keep him out for over a month, Zion Williamson is now sidelined indefinitely.
The Pelicans' star has injured his left hamstring. The injury will keep him out for at least several weeks. However, it's the "indefinite" timeframe that concerns all fans of the team.
Before getting injured, Williamson was averaging 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 31.1 minutes per game. His absence will be deeply felt.
Moreover, injuries have greatly impacted the Pelicans' initial record. After their first 10 games, the Louisiana franchise has only won 3 of them, keeping them at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.
