Building castles in the air is part of the love for basketball, and any fan of this sport has imagined what the best possible starting five in NBA history would be. However, only a few chosen ones can include themselves there. Stephen Curry has done so by answering this question and left out important names.

The opinion that the best point guard in history is Stephen Curry is becoming more unanimous, and the Warriors player seems to agree with that line of thought, not hesitating for a moment to include himself as the playmaker in the best starting five in history. With that enigma solved and assuming he wasn't going to put on a show of false humility, it's time to review his other four selections, which, although logical, are still surprising.

He has left out men like Chamberlain, Russell, Durant, Magic Johnson, Bird, Abdul-Jabbar, Olajuwon, or Kobe Bryant, choosing four other perfectly valid men. Shaquille O´Neal and Tim Duncan would form the frontcourt, while LeBron James and Michael Jordan would join Stephen Curry on the perimeter, who seemed to have the answer ready since he didn't even need a few seconds to think about it.
