End of a wild NBA trade deadline: Angry Kevin Durant stays with the Phoenix Suns
Beastly trade deadline ending with excitement until the last second with the possible KD move that did not happen
NBA Market: Kevin Durant was ultimately not traded by Phoenix Suns. There was high tension until the final seconds of the NBA market; the player deleted his photos with the Suns on his social networks, but the move did not happen in the end. Memphis Grizzlies was strongly linked, clearing roster space by trading away Marcus Smart and Jake LaRavia, yet the deal ultimately fell through.
Reports suggest that the Suns will reassess Kevin Durant's situation in the upcoming weeks. There is no doubt that the player is unhappy, especially considering an attempted trade to the Golden State Warriors that he vetoed, resulting in Jimmy Butler ending up in the Bay Area. Bradley Beal chose not to move, likely contributing to the Suns' inability to act positively and their decision not to let go of KD.
