Jrue Holiday makes a decision: will he stay with the Celtics next season?
The Boston player has been in trade rumors since the team's elimination in the playoffs
The future of Boston Celtics starts now. With Jayson Tatum missing the entire following season due to an Achilles injury, the franchise must rid itself of contracts as high as those of Jrue Holiday or Kristaps Porzingis, especially the latter.
At least that's what has been indicated in recent days by NBA Rumors. After being eliminated from the 2025 Playoffs due to so many injuries, the Celtics are looking at the market with interest. Is Holiday's future in Boston really at stake?
Jrue Holiday has said he believes the Celtics can still compete for the championship next season, even though they won't have Jayson Tatum. Additionally, he mentioned that he hopes to return to the Celtics next season, according to Real GM.
Jrue Holiday is owed $32.4 million for the 2025-26 season and $104.4 million from his contract until 2027-28.
