NBA Rumors: The Team That Wants to Sign Santi Aldama in Free Agency
Jake Fischer, from The Stein Line, states that Spanish is a top priority for the Detroit Pistons
The 2025 NBA Free Agency is getting closer. In July, the transfer market (or renewals) will open for those players who are out of contract. One of them is Santi Aldama of the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Spanish player will become a restricted free agent as soon as the Tennessee franchise extends the qualifying offer. This means that if the Grizzlies want to keep him, they only need to match the best offer Aldama receives in the market.
However, Memphis will face tough competition. As reported by Jake Fischer from NBA Rumors in The Stein Line, the Detroit Pistons have Santi Aldama as a top priority in the Free Agency.
In addition to the Spanish player, the Pistons are considering other options such as Naz Reid and Myles Turner. The Michigan team managed to qualify for the playoffs last season, ending a long rebuilding process. Now, the goal is to continue improving in order to dream of the championship.
