Golden State Warriors and a worrying lack of sense of urgency

A difficult-to-understand situation in which the Golden State Warriors find themselves, not showing the necessary strength to be considered strong contenders for the championship. While Jimmy Butler's arrival initially sparked some optimism, injuries have become a potentially fatal constant in a long season.

Equipping legends with the necessary tools to compete for the championship in their final years in the NBA should not be an option but an obligation for the Golden State Warriors. However, fans of the Bay Area team are witnessing a lack of activity from management focused on trading Kuminga for future draft picks. Only a disruptive move involving those picks could give Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler some hope at the beginning of the season.

Currently, it seems unrealistic to consider the Golden State Warriors as title contenders. Moody and Post are not starting players on a potentially championship-caliber team, there is a lack of reliable players to support the legends, and the shortage of effective contributors is evident. Much needs to change between now and the start of the season if the Bay team wants to begin with any hope and not rely solely on mid-season acquisitions.

Second Unit: Brandin Podziemski, Buddy Hield, Gui Santos, Trayce Jackson-Davis
