Nikola Jokic could sign ​the most lucrative contract in NBA history next summer. According to ESPN's salary cap expert, Bobby Marks, the Denver Nuggets center could agree to a deal worth five years and $359.5 million if he decides to enter free agency.

The Serbian has two more seasons on his current contract, with a player option for the 2027-28 season, and he can currently sign a four-year, $278 million extension. However, if he turns down that offer and declines his option, he could access an even more lucrative agreement.

If it comes to fruition, Jokic would increase his career earnings in salaries to $724 million. The three-time MVP, NBA champion with Denver in 2023, averaged 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game last season.
