The Euroleague announces expansion to 24 teams in the 2027/28 season
The Euroleague has officially announced its expansion for the 2027/28 season, when it will comprise 24 teams instead of the current number. Of the 21 total franchises, eight will be allocated in the coming months among the candidates competing to become a permanent part of the European elite.
