The ECA Shareholders' Assembly will meet on October 5th at Villa d'Este to decide the future of the Euroleague. The owners will evaluate a possible acquisition by the NBA or approve an independent expansion plan with eight new franchises.

The Italian city aims to regain the hosting rights for the EuroLeague Final Four in 2030 with the new Unipol Dome as the main venue. The bid is presented while Abu Dhabi and Valencia finalize the upcoming editions of the continental tournament.
