Giorgi Shermadini has successfully completed all medical tests and is ready to join the preseason of La Laguna Tenerife for the 2026/27 season. The 37-year-old Georgian center has left behind the heart problem that sidelined him since the end of May.

The Slovenian coach signs for two seasons with an option for an additional one and comes with consolidated experience in the Liga Endesa and European competitions.
