NBA Rumors: The Lakers' ambitious plan with Bronny James
According to a league executive, the franchise is clear that they want LeBron's son in the second unit
Bronny James' first year in the NBA didn't go as he might have expected. LeBron James' son barely shared minutes with his father on the Los Angeles Lakers and spent a great part of the season in the G League.
However, it seems that is about to change for the upcoming season. At least, that's what's being advanced by NBA Rumors on HoopsHype. An anonymous executive from the Western Conference has revealed the Lakers' plan for Bronny:
"It seems like the Lakers are determined to push for Bronny James to be part of the rotation. I don't think there's any doubt that's their plan. I know the kid receives a lot of criticism for being who he is, but we've seen many videos of him, and the truth is he was a much better player in April than in October, and undoubtedly in July," he disclosed.
If confirmed, Bronny will be able to play his first full season in the NBA on a team alongside LeBron and Luka Doncic. Quite something.
