Valencia Basket has officially announced the incorporation of TJ Shorts, an American point guard with Macedonian passport who joins as a free agent from Panathinaikos. The player signs for two seasons until June 2028 in a move that consolidates the project of the 'taronja' team after the changes in its sports structure.

The Greek club bid farewell to the player with an emotional message on social media, confirming that both parties are parting ways amicably after his time in the Euroleague.

The 29-year-old American point guard has reached an agreement with Valencia, although his current contract with the Greek team until 2027 represents the main obstacle to completing the deal.
