La leyenda del baloncesto Michael Jordan ha confirmado que ve similitudes entre el juego de Anthony Edwards y el suyo propio. En una conversación con Chris Broussard, Jordan expresó su acuerdo con la comparación, afirmando: "Me comuniqué con el más grande hoy. Él estuvo de acuerdo. Si Jordan dice que hay similitudes, entonces las hay".
