Los mensajes de despedida para Paul Pierce tras su retirada

Como ya es sabido por todos, anoche en el Staples Center vimos el último partido de Paul Pierce, que a sus 39 años y tras 19 años en la NBA y más de 1300 partidos ha decidido poner punto y final a una larga y exitosa carrera que le va a llevar de manera casi segura a ser un Hall Of Fame en un futuro no muy lejano.

Una carrera en la que Paul Pierce se ha ganado el respeto de todo el mundo, y eso incluye a aficionados, periodistas, técnicos y jugadores. Y sobre estos últimos se ha visto muy claro en las redes sociales, donde muchos han querido despedir a un grande.

Nada más acabar el partido The Players´ Tribune publicó un vídeo en el que aparecen hablando de Paul Pierce figuras tan destacadas como Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Doc Rivers, Roy Williams, Rajon Rondo u Oscar Robertson.

Además, Twitter se llenó de mensajes de jugadores y ex jugadores de la NBA que mostraron su admiración por una carrera como la de Paul Pierce. Los más destacados fueron los de leyendas como Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter o Dwyane Wade.
